Well....
Today was fitting day. Got over there in good time and got everything done with big thanks to my mate Tim. His skills and hospitality have meant that most of my mods are possible tbh
Put the springs on (fronts were a bugger), fitted the air box and the spacers were a piece of cake. I love how they've made the splits sit proudly - it now looks exactly as I wanted them to. I'm one mod away from it looking identically to the look I had in mind when I bought it, so it's massively satisfying to near completion of my 'project'. It's cost me about £4k in parts and fitting, but I've never lowered a car, polished my own car or put things like DVD/Sat nav in so it's all expenditure with loads of satisfaction
Barring fitting my Cruise, colour coding the rear diffuser + skirts, maybe upgrading my Hertz speakers, a Remap and refurb'ing the wheels, I think I'm there. It really drives nicely even with the few subtle changes I've added to enhance performance.

Front springs on:
This was the front disc of a Mk4 Golf that came in, had 4 tyres slashed which seemed some sort of vandalism attack - very unfortunate.
Then the lads took the wheels off and the lack of brake pads and discs were unveiled
The pad was around 1mm thick at most and as you can see, there isn't much disc to make contact with! Good old rusty braking...

Better quality daytime pics to come tomorrow by which time the springs will nearly have settled. Looks good though and I'm proper chuffed
Sorry there aren't proper pics of the car itself. Tomorrow I'll have some side + front shots of its stance
