One of my fogs has cracked.

Im going to order a new one this month.

After looking at DomT's thread (did his fogs and looked great) and recommended ages ago by GazbutS3 Im thinking I should do this mini mod for both aesthetics and to help stop the fogs from smashing again.

Thinking either Yellow or Gun smoke, just wanted some opinions.  If I dont have any bother applying it I will think about doing a light smoke on the headlights.

Discuss  :happy2:

Thanks in advance  :drinking:

I might get some of this for my fogs :happy2:
What size do people usually get for the fogs? do you bother with their applicator or not?
Think I prefer the Gun Smoke colour   :drinking:

IIRC the 12*4 is fine. Don't need a specific applicator, just something that will act as a good squeegie. I used my vpower card  :signLOL: along with hairdryer.

Looks good in yellow, think I will do that myself at some point.
Is it cheaper to buy a large piece than smaller ones?Ask as I may buy a large piece and sell the spare parts on here?

Did you have to remove the fog vent trim to stick it on? Mine are carbon fibre & are slightly glued on  :ashamed:
GTI going...

You are best to take the fogs out and take them inside. Easier to use hairdryer on them. Best fitting is done with about 5mm down the sides so that when they cool the laminx contracts on to the fog.
