Intercooler hose seal part no required.

When I was changing the wheels on my car today for the winters I noticed there was a bit of oily gunge starting to seep through the join of the undertray and splitter.  The only thing I can think of is either some air con oil or that the inter cooler pipe is leaking slightly.  This being the case I suppose its also leaking a bit of boost...  

I didn't have time to take the undertray off or investigate further but does anyone know if there is a seal ring or is it just a clamp thats likely to need cleaning and tightening.  Leak observed just forward of the drivers side wheel arch.

Anyone got a part no for the seal ring?

There is an o ring, mine has perished twice and has felt much better after it was replaced  :happy2:

Has been drivers side both times on mine however others ar prone to going, Robdf2 has had other ones fail.  Only a cheap fix  :happy2:

8A (x2) is specified for the Pass side hose.



Don't be fooled by number 3.  It is a Clamp.

yep i have , seems my car is always doing weird things lol.
make sure you do get the coreect oring because either end of that pipe are different sizes , i have no idea why they didnt make the o rings a standard size  :stupid:

No, the outlet pipes on the APR IC are larger than the S3 (and standard IC) ones. It comes with it's own bespoke IC hoses.

Bugger.  So I wonder if i would be stuffed the the turbo discharge & intercooler pipe too?

The hoses taper to fit into the standard turbo discharge & throttle body pipe on a standard car so it should work with the "uprated" pipes as well.
