CDL? So that's basically the same as the ed30 unit?

CDL is from S3. BYD is Ed30 iirc. Basically the same apart from a few minor details.

it was not bad when i got into it,  got one of them picture memories so was easy really.

i also redone the loom so my n75 connection come out in the correct place, i hated that wire over the top of the engine. :jumpmove:

Well i talked with nick(r-tech) about my map and he explained if i changed my fuel sensor under the inlet manifold it would be fine.

Changed it to day!  I have all my power back whoop  :driver:

....

Then the AC pump seized and snapping my belt!  Was not fun but luckily I had a spare!

yea i am looking forward to it also!

Does anyone know what belt i would need not to run the AC pump?

I want to do a RR befor and after to see if it does take any power away when it is not running.

Installed one of the braces while i was up seeing nick at r-tech.  You can defiantly feel the difference in body roll!  just have to install my rear brace.

Nick giving my car some go fast juice lol!

We had a play with the map, car does need more fine tuning, as the CDL engine runs totally different to my old BWA but we ended up with 360bhp and 390ftlb so is still fun to drive :driver:

Great stuff - any difference to the way it drives between the CDL & BWA? Does it 'feel' stronger?

Is Nick confident that he'll find your missing bhp?

I'll have to speak to you later in the week about a custom map from Nick to accommodate my future planned mods - got far too many questions at the mo and don't want to clog up your thread.

Great to see that the car is back  :happy2:

I popped up to r-tech today to get my mapped tweaked as I felt it was not running 100% due to the engine change;

The end result for now,
394BHP /373lbs 25psi peak then 19/20psi to redline

I have also asked nick to create a 30psi map so i can get more torque, as I liked getting chucked into the back of my seat  :driver:

Though i would also share the state of my old inlet on the BWA engine.  It has only done 40k  i was rather shocked.  I was running 50/50 meth also so thought it might of been cleaner.
