yep, the s3 g247 made my engine run lean.

It is do with the voltage they signal on,  bwa has one point and it seems the s3 has to points.

Tips.
Just change it on your drive! only took me 1.5 days on my own, really easily job  :drinking:

We found the k03 ecus run a 140bar rail pressure sensor with a 2 point linear 0-5v scale in the software, and the k04 ecus run a 200bar sensor with a 3 point 0-5v scale to give better reading at higher rail demands.   Since finding this out on james CDL I have now produced a base map to run the k04 sensors on the k03 sw.
this sounds very interesting as I am in the middle of dropping a CDL Engine in to my mk5 so it would be benifcial running the k04 rail pressure sensor rather than the k03 sensor? 8)8)

Unless you use the ECU from the CDL it won't work, H4RDY has made a topic abut this.

The AXX software is the 2 point reference rail sensor mapping   0.5v = 0 MPa / 4.5v =14 MPa
The BWA software is a 3 point reference rail sensor mapping     0.5v = 0 MPa / 2.5v = 7 MPa / 4.5v = 14 MPa
The CDL BWJ is also a 3 point reference rail sensor mapping     0.5v = 0 MPa / 2.5v = 10 MPa / 4.5v = 20 MPa

In theory we can change the 4.5v point to 20 MPa in the AXX mapping it will work fine as its just linear voltage to work with the CDL sensors.  Its not an issues with the BWA software we can just use 0.5v = 0 MPa / 2.5v = 10 MPa / 4.5v = 20 MPa from the CDL mapping.

Anyone else know what other sensors differ across the AXX BWA CDL and BWJ engines?  I cant look in to the software and see what can be used and what needs attention in the SW.

James - seriously impressed with yours today

Cheers for the ride  :happy2:

That 1st gear limiter is comical though

That's after the actuator has been tightened up?

I believe so Alex.

that is correct  :happy2:

problem is with this turbo, if you set the duty to 70% top end you will put the same power even if you set it to 100% as it blows the westgate open.

Would be intrested to see what would happen if you installed a stronger spring.

I've been thinking of a forge actuator with a stronger spring?

Got a forge actuator if you want it, had it on my last hybrid Fuxxin horrible!
Gave Massive boost spike the but to be fair we tensioned it a wee bit  made 450ft lb on spike but tailed off like a bitch after was a quick car though tbh!

yea i get 450ftlb but like you say it tails off fast like you can see in my rr

i cant be arsed to take the turbo out to change it, would rather just stick a bigger turbo on if i was going to do that  :signLOL:

U don't need to remove the blower to fit the actuator but it is a PITA to get too!!! Reach for the TCP after etc.
TBH James you don't need it at all Your doing far too well as is !!  :happy2:

How much of an improvment would this make? ^^^^^
If it's not broke, Mod it.....
