Looking good fella!

I do love a Jetta!  :happy2:

Thanks Greeners meee tooo  :happy2:

Nice one man, how long did they take to arrive? By the dates on the forum 2 days

Even GTI side skirts are not that quick  Glad you spoke to a decennt parts man, its actually suprising when you get through to someone at the stealers that is actually there to help!

Yep Chris 2 days, i was surprised cos the parts guy had never ordered them before and didn't even think they existed. He said expect at least a week or 2  :surprised:

Car is looking good buddy  :happy2: where abouts in the southwest are you?

Thanks Aweful, based in Burnham on sea and work in Bristol

Finally fitted my xmas pressie from the wife, full interior led set from Matt

Looks great  :happy2:

Love the LED pic

How do you find your coilovers? I need some new ones on my jetta

Its sat on Bilstein B12 kit (pg 2 of thread), reason being it sits on a motorway for 70miles a day and has to carry the family at the weekend. B12's are gert lush for me.  Got them from Graeme @ GNJ on here I considered coilovers but needed to keep it comfortable.

Haha I'm wound down pretty much all the way on my jetta and its used everyday for work and family dutys although the ride ain't all that! And speed bumps are a right nightmare!! I'm just looking for something that offers a little comfort as I'm going to raise it 10mm for bigger wheels!

Thanks Mickey-D, it was a shame to let it go, but it was never the same after its accident.
I did promise to post some more pictures but not found them yet.

B12's are not coilovers, Bilstein shock and H&R springs 50mm drop @front and 35mm @ rear. Have you posted any pictures of your Jetta?

I started to fit the skirts today, sorry for the poor pictures, the wife took the camera away with her to Montenegro visiting friends. these are from my  iPhone.
Started fitting the support strip with strong bond and self tapper screw at either end and in middle, tape is to hold in place till bond stuck. First N/S

Then O/S

Before (with winters on)

After (old summer wheels ( Looking for Pescara's)

At this pint things were going well, then I went to fit the O/S and then this happened!!

Front end fitted nicely, then

Bloody thing is too short!! Need to talk to VW Monday morning!!

Thanks for looking in

Cant be a Golf one as part number is stamped inside the skirt.
I also measured a Golf and it's the same length.

Sorry yeah I no the b12 kit is a shock and spring setup so I would imagine that it rides pretty well and the ride height looks good too. I got no build thread yet but once I get my wedding out the way ill try and sort one out, if you have got Instagram have a look at tgazjetta and their is loads of pics of it!

Them skirts look well shame about the short one! I'm looking to fit some to mine in the summer to give the sills a bit of protection more than anything g else!!

Bit of an update from VW regarding short skirt.

They have offered up the O/S skirt to their forecourt Jetta and they said it looks like it will fit, they didn't fit it to their car as it has mudflaps on!
They also want me to take my car in to them to see that it doesn't fit on Friday, BUT they did say that as they are not factory fitted in the UK they said that VW UK would not be getting involved or help out.

I will update on Friday
