Matthew's Black Pearl GTI
« on: April 14, 2013, 10:57:10 pm »
Hi guys,

Thought I best start a progress thread now I have had the car for a few months.

I previously had a Tornado Red GTI, although it had a mis-fire which was proving hard to diagnose.

This went for a another Clio 182 and I have finally come back to the GTI fold.

This was my TR GTI...

This is my new GTI, which came with Monza reps initially, however these have since been eplaced with Edition 30 Pescaras.

Thanks guys. It's such a great colour when clean and in the sun.

So much pearl going on  :happy2:

Plans are; Full service and cambelt due. Then possibly an R-Tech remap in the summer as a treat.

I'm debating a remap soon too mate... seems that RTECH are the ones to go to for price and performance gains.  I'm going to change the pads (or save for S3 brakes) before then though. :drinking:

Yeah I want the car in top condition before performance modification begins.

Update time: Had the car fully serviced, new Rev G DV fitted and had the rear colour coded.

It's in for a cambelt/waterpump and new rear brakes/pads next week also

I also gave the wheel abit of a go over with some leather restorer, came up really nice..
