My GT TDI - new wheels fitted
« on: September 07, 2013, 09:11:53 pm »
Hi all. So i Though i should finally get round to starting a thread in here and share my car. I gave it a wash today and a polish.  To be honest, I've never been one for polishing and you could count on one hand  how many times i've polished a car but I gave it a bash today.  Here's some pictures to kick it off.

Some wee bits I ordered off eBay

And fitted

Future plans consist of, ed30 rear splitter, gti sideskirts, ed 30 front splitter all colour coded, The bonnet has a bit road rash so might get that done depending on funds.  I also want to fit a short plate front and back.

All comments welcome.   Cheers

Picked up the car out bodyshop, Bought votex splitter from "Grande GTI" I did ask guys if they thought it would be better left satin black or colour coded.

SO......... Colour coded ED30 rear bumper, GTI sideskirts, Votex front splitter.  Fitted Chrome sill plates and new interior mats. Some update pictures.

Comments welcome.

Next up rear window tints. De-badged.

Only update was a wash n fitted HEKO wind deflectors. Was bored today so took some pictures.  Pic heavy......my bad  :ashamed:

I had full set of GT mudflaps fitted before GTI sideskirts were put on. Think I need to buy GTI mudflaps now.  Preferably non branded GTI ones.

Comments welcome

Just thinking.  I've had the ed30 rear bumper fitted, are the mudflaps different for this as it's a different shape from GTI version.  But I'll need GTI fronts to fit round the gti skirts.

Is this correct or have I got this wrong?

You need to get yourself down to your local custom exhaust center and have them knock you up a straight through exhaust system with some nice exhaust pipes.

I was thinking more along the lines of just changing the back box?  Must be able to get GTI back box with shiny tips to fit without to much fuss??
