This hasnt happened to me, it usually happens on motorway drives.

How much did you get yours sorted for bower if you dont mind me asking?

And where did you source your parts from?

i repaired it myself, it cost £50 for the wheel sensor which as it turned out was probably ok (even though ycds said it was the sensor), but its a far easier job to replace that first to rule out than replacing the wheel bearing and cos its stuck in solid the only way out is to break it out.
 then it was £35 for a replacement wheel bearing from a online jobby and a month later its still ok showing no faults on vcds.

Mine hasn't been left in yet BBFB10, but it is booked for a couple of weeks time as workshop is busy as where I work!

As above BOWER said his was abs speed sensor and reluctor ring, i was told mine could be this or abs pump failure or a wheel bearing also by a friend of a friend.

Been told many problems but as soon as my car has been left in and diagnosed i'll let you know mate!

the reluctor ring is built into the wheel bearing, luckly when i removed my old bearing it was knackered anyway so didnt loose owt by replacing it

Will have to get a few quotes after i get my car checked over and diagnosed.

Not sure if this might help to narrow problem down but when mine had the same problem i couldn't rev over 3000 rpm.. might be worth a check?

Mine is allowing me to rev as normal so no issue there but was worth a check if you had the same issue as myself too!

Hope diagnostics show me something that's easy to fix

I've has the same issue on mine... also have noticed that few time its not let me rev over 3000rpm...
i know its a speed sensor not had time to loo into it.
