Chris if you around the Manchester area I have an unused previous version number hose without the connecting rubber hose available. It is exactly like the latest version.

Old thread revival.....

I've been told the check valve on my brake booster hose is failing to close under boost so I'm after a new one.

However, this is proving very difficult as the guys at my VW Parts Dept cannot find the correct part for my engine.

When I give them either the 1K0 612 041 BM or GM revision part numbers they are not listed against my BYD engine code, infact when they show me the parts catalogue on their screen there are no parts with the three pipes coming off the valve, only ones with two.

Also, my one that is failing doesn't have the very short pipe coming off to the right like the one in the photo above has.

Do all Pirellis / ED30s have the BYD engine code?

Would any BYD owners be able to check what part number they have on their cars for me please? It would be greatly appreciated.

I'm confused, if the one on your car at the moment doesn't have the little nipple on the right side of the valve in the photo then don't you need one with two pipes coming off the valve?

This is the part number for my one which does not have the little third nipple coming off the check valve.

1K0612041BM

Hope that helps.

Edit: After a bit of Googling (as I'm also looking to buy this part), it was superseded with 1K0612041CH which does not have the nipple, but this has also been superseded by guess what 1K0612041GM, which has the friggin' nipple on it.
