Need your car detailed for this summer?
« on: March 18, 2014, 03:04:27 pm »
Paintwork looking a bit tired for show season, or summer in general?

Well we can offer you a solution. :)

What your car will get:

1) Full safe body wash including snow foam pre-rinse 2 bucket method wash with premium lambswool wash mitt

2) Wheels cleaned with acid free wheel cleaner and scratch free wheel woolies, including wheel barrels and wheel arches

3) Full paintwork decontamination with tar remover, Iron remover and claying

4) Dried using premium ultra-soft Microfibre drying towels and electric hot air driers

5) Paint depths measured and a 2/3 stage machine correction and removal of swirl marks and imperfections within the paint (please see the before and after pictures below for the true difference) and wipe downs with IPA/Eraser to ensure correction results and proper panel preparation for protection.

6) Multiple coats of a durable wax or sealant, giving up to 8-10 months of protection. (Upgrade to CQUK or Cquartz Finest with 2 year warranty available at extra cost, please ask)

7) Interior cleaned and treated, dashboard cleaned and protected with a non-shine dressing (steam cleaner used where appropriate)

8.) Engine bay cleaned and dressed (steam cleaner used where appropriate)

Pictures of just a handful of cars which have received this sort of treatment.

Pricing

Usually this would come to £340 on it's own (an enhancement detail £280 , plus £40 for interior and £20 for the engine bay) however we are able bring this package to you for just £265!!!!

This is a special price for forum members saving you nearly £100 on the usual price.

How long it takes

It would take a full day to complete the work. For example if you were to drop the car off at 9am on a Saturday morning it would be ready for collection at 9am the next day.
If you prefer weekday evenings you can leave your car with us in the locked and secure unit, and it would be completed in 3 evenings (drop the car off at 6pm on a Tuesday and it would be ready for collection Friday night)

How are we able to work get such a level of correction done in one day do you ask? Easy, there are two people working on your car. So it takes half the time  :happy2:

I'm tempted....but my golf has a wrap so half the things wouldn't apply :(

Does need a good "detail" mind. Anything to recommend?

Wraps are fine to clean in the normal way.. usually you don't want to use anything with any gloss enhancers though.
Chemical Guys (and a few other companies) make products such as Meticulous Matte Detailer/Shampoo.

So if I was to take up this little offer, I wouldn't miss out per se over a "paint" car?

You wouldn't get any machine polishing because your wrap is a matt wrap so would cause it to become patchy and shiney. Plus if the wrap is even slightly lifting or peeling it can cause all sorts of issues

You can still wax/seal your vinyl wrapped car but you wouldn't really benefit from the paint correction part of it.

Shame Tara - where abouts are you?

How long is this deal running for?

No set cut off, at least till August, and then we will consider continuing the offer on after that.

Aww man, what's up with it? Sorry if you've mentioned in a build thread or something, it's hard to keep up!
