Tax Disc Replacement Idea

I hope this hasn't been thought of already, I couldn't find anything from a search.

Anyway, as you probably know the DVLA are changing the tax disc rules from the 1st October.  You will no longer need to display a tax disc in your window and after that date the DVLA will stop issuing paper tax discs.

So...  what do you do with your nice metal designer tax disc holder you bought for your GTi (or am I the only person?!)

I was thinking, could we get the forums sticker logo turned into an insert to put in your tax disc holder.  Great way to keep your holder and show the world your a member of this great forum.

From what I've read you can keep an old in the window, the authorities won't be looking at them anymore, they are just interested in your number plate now.

Mine doubles up as an antenna so I'm not sure what to do with it since it's wired into the car

I'm going to put my wife's staff car park pass in it & tidy up the windscreen

I've never been into these metal disc holders so have a cheap nasty plastic one which came with the car. It will be going in the bin once its no longer needed.

I liked the idea of having a forum insert, think there would be a market for it. Myself, I'm ditching mine for that clean look.

Might put a glow in the dark forum sticker in it. If not I'll take it out and keep it incase I ever get a permit for something

Definitely binning mine then i'll just have the parking permit shabbying up the windscreen

I would love to put my German umwelt zone sticker in mine but it is already stuck on the other side of the screen and won't come off without ruining it.
