Intro Post
http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,83751.msg867215.html#msg867215

So i haven't really been posting much on here since i got the car, just been snooping in the classifieds and build threads to be honest. But now as the cogs have started turning i thought i would start a thread up.
I originally just wanted to leave the car standard for as long as possible and just sort the little niggles out and enjoy it, but then after thinking about it for a while and visiting ultimate dubs last weekend and completly falling back in love with car so i have finally decided to pull my finger out.

Mods will be done when money is available.

First proper picture the day i got it, not long after i got it i noticed that the drivers side door was sagging a little and catching, and making a mess of the paint, so popped it back to VW fixed it and painted it all for free so happy days with that, did a spot on job.

Major, clay bar, polish and wax session couple of weeks into owning it came up a minter.

Picked some of seat inlays up last weekend, nice little touch.

Next job is wheels and coils, getting her sat looking pretty  :innocent:
Wheels in question, friend has these in at work and i picked em for a bargain of what there going to be worth when he is finished with them.

The day he got them.

Yesterday he sent me these after he had his hands on them for a day.
He had them looking like this, diamond cut, black barrels and polished lips.
Should be done sometime next week.

Love that colour mate! Still think the R32 has to be one of the best sounding engines there is!

Went to Malta for 10 days so not really had a chance to update for a while.
Wheels are finished, got some 215/35/19's on the way.
Car is booked in for a full service, haldex and DSG service at awesome GTI in the up coming weeks also having AP Coils fitted at the same time.

Right so I finally got round to having everything fitted.
Went to awesome gti end of last week had a full service, dsg, and haldex service, had some AP coils thrown on as well did a spot on job for a good price.
Had my wheels wrapped with kumho 215/25/19's.

Over the moon with how well it looks now, just need to wind the coils down to getting sat just right.
