These are the mods:

The first one was the S3 intercooler, full aluminium, larger then the stock (gti) one:

Then came the cold air intake, I choose EVO-MS for the WRC like sound and the good reviews at the time:

Got the Blueflame exhaust, 3", 100 cel catalyst (later de-cat):

The car made a lot of power, but it had some hard time staying on the road. It was time for coilovers, Bilstein PSS10:

...and for anti roll bars - H&R 26mm front, 24mm rear:

...i decided i needed more power  :signLOL: - APR high pressure fuel pump:

...and the clutch couldn't take it...so I have bought Southbend Stage 3 Endurance + SMF:

Then I had upgraded the dogbone + mount insert with the ones from BSH:

I've found some cheap used TT lower arms (it proved to be one of the best upgrades that I've ever made). Because of the negative camber everything changed, superb steering feel, greatly reduced understeer:

Then I got my Wavetrack LSD:

Installed new coils and plugs (NGK Iridium BKR8EIX):

... and the RS4 fuel pressure regulator:

Then I had to change the lower mount to Vibratechnics and motor + gearbox to 034 density line - (no real picture) to eliminate the wheel hop:

Then the endless problem with braking overheating begun - at first I have upgraded the front with Tarox F2000 discs and Carbotech RP2 and rear with DS2500 brake pads:

...then the trackday wheels OEM Seat Leon FR 7J + Federal FZ 201 semislicks (which were too close to the brakes):

Because they were 7J (no brake clearance - or so I thought at the time) I boiled the brake fluid at my first trackday after upgrading and cracked one disc...so I've decided to change them with these (BBS VZ 032 8J):

Same thing happened, everything cooked again, calipers, pads, fluid:

I've received the rear brakes to S3/R32 310mm and I've sent them for a paint job so they will match with the AP Racing BBK that I've ordered:

I really hope the new ventilated rear rotors will help with the heat dissipation, otherwise it is just added weight, front's do all the braking.

Because I've ordered AP Racing's Formula BBK CP5575M1011R2.CG12, I had to also order a new set of 8x18 Team Dynamics wheels and new 18" tyres, these will not fit under 17" wheels.
The tyres are here:

They are DMAK Trackday tyres, never used them before, I will see what they can do. They have kevlar sidewall, I've never seen anything harder
Now I still have to wait 2 weeks for the wheels and 7 for the BBK.

If the overheating problem continues I will have to build brake ducts.

By the way the car was remaped by Revo (Stage 2+).

I'm really happy you like the car, there are some monster builds around here.

Yesterday I got the rear calipers powder-coated:

If they don't help with the cooling, it is just added weight:

Caliper:                1,8 Kg
Caliper Carrier:      1,3 Kg
Rotor:                  6,8 Kg

I still have to find out how much the GTI rear brakes weigh.

Awesome Teo, I'll check the track vids out in a bit  :happy2:

Some great spec going in here.
I like the BBS, a rarer set in the UK.

I've sorted a used S3 intercooler out now, too

Going well so far there. Add some Ground control adjustable camber mounts.

Also you could opt for the Superpro front control arm kit.

 :happy2:
Golf R gone.

Thanks Pete! The BBS are gone now, they were 17" and the new BBK needs minimum 18" wheel.
I made somebody very happy, I used them once.
I've ordered TD Pro Race 1.2 8x18. (eta 2 weeks)

Great news with the IC, it will be more than enough for your setup!  :happy2:

Thanks for your suggestions!
I was thinking about camber plates, but I still have to find some for Cupra/B16.
I will read more about the Superpro front control arm kit.

Cheers!  :drinking:

Update:

I had to repaint the passenger sill and the tailgate, there were  some old "injuries". I have some before and after pictures.

Before:

After:

And the new wheels arrived so i put the DMACK's on them. Because of the kevlar sidewall it was a real battle getting then on the rim. After inflating to 9.5 bar, they've given up.
Still 3 weeks until the final piece, AP Racing's BBk. And then....race mode - on.  :driver:
