Cheers mate! Don't start on that I could of died that night, such shame. I know there is still a lot of money to spend! Recently got a promotion at work so progress will hopefully improve, my current wish list for the future is as follows;

  • Brand new Depo headlights
  • fixing paintwork (lacquer)
  • Either milltek or Powervalve sports cat and cat back
  • Alloy wheel refurb on both fronts, possibly a new colour?
  • larger brakes for front and back - no idea yet on what!

All fitted, only issue one of my high beam lamps isn't working so will have to order another and play with it another time, hopefully when it's dark tonight I'll be impressed with the light out put so I won't need to do the HID kit but it isn't off the cards completely!

I'm finally happy with how the front end looks now although I may need to adjust the positioning of the headlights ever so slightly as my OCD is kicking in a tad

Great looking front end! Good job! :congrats:

If you bought Depo xenon-look headlights avoid exposing them to UV light, they'll burn faster than Hella headlights or Bosch genuine xenons.

I've finally sorted my exhaust out now :) I have got a BCS cat back on its way, so hopefully get it fitted at some point before I get back to work!

Excuse the filth on my car however I'm too elated to clean it first!

Genuinely over the moon with this, this is a non resonated system and my lord it's loud when boosting or at least it appears to be loud inside the car where as its not really intrusive from the exterior :D absolutely buzzing!

Absolutely mate  :evilgrin: My garage today were keen to fit the down pipe also but I haven't ordered it yet  :ashamed: I really don't want to mess about the Decats though so I'm trying to get a good price on a BCS Down pipe and sports cat!

I hope you can find a good deal soon. You engine is capable of 225 HP with stock turbo and 250 HP with a better turbo. :evilgrin:

I want it to be a BCS Powervalve now after hearing this with no droning and a lovely sound, will be pricier I know! I think I'm going to be happy with 200HP realistically, I love my fuel economy also and I can accept some sacrifices on that but ideally not!
Writing this as I've driven 50 miles to take my missus somewhere and looking at the 43mpg is not too bad!

Been speaking to Nige @ BCS and it looks like they don't currently make a Downpipe and sports cat to fit the TSI platform but they are willing to fabricate one for me, and not a bad price either so that will be happening at some stage! :jumpmove: :jumpmove:
