Rev D DV failure?
« on: August 01, 2015, 09:00:00 am »
I fitted a Rev D about a year or so ago after reading about them on the forum

I finally got round to putting my Rev G on a couple of weeks ago, and the Rev D looked like this as soon as I'd undone the 3 bolts holding it in (I carefully removed the body and the valve section wasn't attached to it, and just fell out)

Is that a normal mode of failure? How would that have been affecting my boosting?

, they are only held together as a press fit and come apart like that.  Boost forces it open, the solenoid forces it close, the spring stops it chattering. So it's not a issue it comes apart.  :happy2: nothing wrong with that.
