Also I have an MOT coming up in a week or so. Will this Intake be fine on there?

Will have to got for a different class MOT, think it's a class 6 and cost about £75

That ain't good, could always stick the old oem intake on for MOT

I read that and was like "WTF is he on?!"... Nice skills V!

I have a RamAir kit on my K03 GTI and it's lovely. I would most likely still use on for my Golf R after driving my GTI for the first time in weeks again today, for the cost you can't go wrong.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

The more comments I hear people make on this the more excited I am receiving it and fitting it  :jumping:

Instructions are garbage. There was no mention of how to fit the heat shield at the back of the engine. One picture it isn't there, next picture it's there! Easy enough to figure out though once you have a look.

You are a better man than I!

I was literally there for 20 minutes and could not see how it fits at the back. There just isn't enough room and it was resting directly on top of sensors.
I left it off as didn't look like was really needed anyway.

Fitted mine last week. It sounds nice and loud when accelerating hard.
Still fairly loud normally anyway though tbh.

Not sure which size you went for, but I went for the 90mm oversize, which may be why mine sounds so loud?

Also a bit more responsive when accelerating too :)

From memory you have to take off the 2 pegs that hold the engine cover in place at the rear of the engine,  place the heat shield down and screw into place using the engine cover mounting pegs.
