Gti Advice Nurburgring trip
« on: August 17, 2015, 08:33:02 pm »
Right lads.. Just booked my first Nurburgring trip ever.

Just after advice for what I should check/change on my mk5 gti before going.

The engine is as good as it will ever be so no concerns with that. Just changed oil etc etc

I was thinking of changing the gearbox oil before going as the box whines slightly in 1st and seconds gears. I was also thinking a brake fluid change before going as I don't no when it was last done.

Any other things I should do? And any advice in general for driving over there etc is very welcome

When your driving over, it may come up on the sat nav, following the motorway through Holland to Germany! Sounds weird but is fine time wise. The road through Holland is flat, straight and one of the best surfaces I seen. We also found a GTR from Belgium....
