Exhaust manifold heat shield fitting issue
« on: August 18, 2015, 11:54:23 pm »
My Edition 30 has the lambda sensor wiring running along the rear upper side of the engine bay. After fitting an exhaust manifold heat shield from Creations Motorsports it rubs that wire potentially damaging it in the future.

What do you suggest doing to avoid this issue?

Just cut a bit of the heat shield?

i'd get an adjustable spanner and pop it where the wire rubs and curl the lip towards engine, if you cut there will always be the edge of the shield close to (at risk) of rubbing.

or you could always add a clip to clip the wire to the shield, pretty sure the one that goes on the bulkhead heatshield should fit  :happy2:
