I've got the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti fitted all round. Rate them very highly.
I've been using Vredestein tyres for a few years now on a number of different cars.
They've never let me down and if you check most review sites they get better reviews than a lot of the higher end stuff.

The tendency on the other forum I'm on (RS246) with RS4 owners is to stay well clear of Pirelli's. Eagle F1's and Michelin pilot sports are much more popular. Have never tried Pirellis, just passing on the feedback.

I run Eagle F1's on 2 different sets of wheels. I tracked my RS4 with a part worn set yesterday and I thought they did fantastically, had to really really push hard to break traction.

I have Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 on my GT Sport and I like them. The sidewall is a bit soft but that makes them quiet enough while driving. They also last more than enough for my needs. I still have a pair with almost 45.000 miles that is going to get replaced when rainy weather comes back.

I got Continental CSC5 for my OZ Ultras and they're as good as the Goodyear but with a stronger sidewall. They're new so I don't know how long they'll last. I'm sure my Ed. 30 will eat them faster with a Stage 2+.

I hated pirelli P zero on my mk1 focus Rs, was like a different car once changed to michelin ps3
Recently fitted continental sport contact 5 on wifes Mk5 Gt tdi and honestly think they put the ps3's to shame especially in the wet

Just fitted four F1s (17") £375 for everything.

Compared to the CS3 (rear) Khumho 31 (front) they are very quiet and the steering is more direct.

Problem with comparing tyres is that usually people compare their worn out tyres to a brand new set, which is quite difficult

Good point haha.


Mine came with P zero Rossos when it was delivered.  They where a decent wear rate and dont remember them being particularly noisy.  Since then Ive mostly used Goodyear F1s.  Im itching to try the supersport to see if its as good an all rounder as everyone says.
