was going to change my rear discs and pads, just wondering if anyone has experienced after doing this it has effected the handbrake resulting in having to adjust it, or does it adjust itself. cheers.

not teaching to suck eggs but using windback tool and making sure boot not bunching up?
on occasion i've had to flick the edge of the boot seal up on the piston to release air as it was ballooning the boot.

Yep just did mine and the handbrake was absolutely fine, apart from the rewind tool make sure You have the 14M multi spline socket to undo the caliper carrier assy this was an expensive lesson for me and the bolts were a royal pain in the ass to get
