Brockway's Stage 2+ ED30 #0310
« on: August 23, 2015, 02:52:25 pm »
I've been on here for a little while now, since buying my Edition in October last year. Thought it was about time I said hello and got some pictures up!

So Hi I'm Andy, I'm from Dorset and here is my Edition 30 number 310...

The car was standard when I bought it. I was quick to replace the cheap tyres with a set of Michelins and had a full service/health check done by VW.

Spec so far is:

-Styling
LED interior bulbs
Gel number plates
Heko wind deflectors
Dewipered
Open fog grills
Wheel spacers 12mm front, 15mm rear
In pro smoked mirror indicators

-Performance
Forge recirc valve
Ramair induction kit
Powerflex bushes
Catch can
Eibach springs

-Audio
Alpine head unit
Alpine speakers
Alpine 12" sub in wheel arch box
Sound deadening

I also have carbon interior trim and xenon headlights on the way and am looking to buy a set of 345mm brakes in the near future.
Other plans include; exhaust, intercooler, remap and have the wheels refurbed.

Found a friend in a services near Southampton a couple months back, anyone on here?

Cheers Guys! :happy2: Can't wait for the xenons myself!

The Fiesta is my previous project and was my second car. Still have it sat in the shed collecting dust, such a fun little car, just don't have the time to enjoy it anymore.

Yes Stephen I reckon it was yours, looks smart. I hung around for a bit to see if you would come back but I had to get home, haha. It was the 28th I think, I went to FOS on the 26th but was back down that way having my polybushes fitted on the Sunday.

Dwarfus I'm from up in Shaftesbury, so not too far away! :)

Been a little while! I've had VW change the cam belt and water pump on the car, and it passed its mot! Have also recently fitted Xenon headlights and Scirocco R 345mm front brakes, which I'm in love with. Theres been a small hole in the exhaust for a while, it had been patched up with good old gun gum but yesterday decided to start blowing again. So this morning I decided it was time and got my name down for a BCS 3" turbo back with sports cat. :D

Thanks mate!  I can't remember exactly which springs they are, I think they're the Sportline kit, -25mm. Sits just right for me, can't go any lower because of the tracks I use to get to work. haha

Hi not updated this for a very long time. The car had an engine replacement last winter due to the original having the oil pump balance shaft shear off. I managed to find a replacement BYD engine in a breakers with fairly low milage. At the same time of having the engine swap a few extra parts were fitted...

Performance spec now looks like-

- Ramair induction kit
- Revision G Boost valve
- Revision R PCV
- Powerflex bushes
- Boost tap hose
- Eibach springs
- Manifold heat shield
- BCS 3" turbo back exhaust, sports cat
- Exhaust heat wrap
- Scirocco R 345mm brakes
- Goodridge brake hoses
- Boost gauge
- S3 alloy Intercooler
- Balance shaft delete
- Sachs performance organic clutch & single mass lightened flywheel
- Intake flap delete
- Subframe bolts and spacer mod
- Uprated HPFP internals
- R-Tech Stage 2+ map

Finally back in November I took a visit to R-Tech for the remap, whilst there they also upgraded the hpfp internals and I came back very happy with some figures I was expecting no where near!-   372bhp, 398ft/lbs. More than happy with that! :D

Pics...

Nice update! And a really strong curve. 400lb/ft must feel effortless.

Got to agree with what someone said earlier in the thread - it sits really well for springs. I haven't seen a car on Eibach that's quite as low, at the front at least.

Bet it is a flyer once you get grip, Icing on the cake would be a Limited Slip Differential if it was my car!

Good to see decent figures running the S3 Intercooler too, I am going to retain my Stock Golf R Intercooler when I go to Stage 2+ but I doubt I will see numbers like yours. Anything 350BHP upwards and similar Torque would be more than adequate

Hope you are enjoying it  :happy2:
