£30 a yr tax, £270 fully comp, 50+mpg.

A stage 1 map gives 220-230bhp and 360-370lbft.

Alcantara heated sport seats, Satnav, 18" alloys. Not a bad daily really.  :happy2:

LOL, you could be right, but you have to remember that I have had 4 brand new diesels in the past.  :happy2:
I was surprised that a stock one of these does 0-60 in under seven and a half seconds.....still four and a half slower than my old R though!!!!

4.5 seconds = A lifetime in racing terms. Still, it must return about 4.5 times the economy of the Golf R, even when doing the 7 seconds push to 60...

Can we just collectively decide to shun him until he has another interesting car to show us? Until i see a sub 12 second 1/4 mile print out I'm not interested   :wink:
