If you are not happy dude , you never will be. I have been like that with loads of my cars.  :surprised:

Have you kept all of the standard parts for your golf? That will be a mission in itself putting your car back to standard. :notworthy:

I actually love my 5 door  :P

Yeah I would have to be careful about who I chose to insure due to the map. Cheers :happy2:

I planned on keeping it for 4 years (will have done 1) but I have lost excitement for it! I dont think I will lose to much on the car maybe a grand? Also alot of the mods will be used or sold for extra cash (Have most the standard bits in my garage. I am not sure what to do!  :rolleye:

The sig was TC's handiwork!
:happy2:

Do you think I would be better selling privately or part ex it?
I have seen a very nice candy white mk6 1.4 tsi dsg which is really getting me thinking now! With a few touches I think it could look pretty special!  :pomppomp:

I had a quick web search but the cheapest came back at 3.5k! I will have a phone around but it seems this may be out of the question to!

The mk6 has really grown on me recently. Plus they have the engine I want, the 1.4 tsi 122 in DSG. (Can be remapped to around 155 bhp i believe). I am going to go and test drive one I think and see what I think.
With a few simple mods it could look like this one:

lol true story.

Butttt, that lot you list is a good £1500 or so (depending on first hand/second hand etc or reps etc) and plus, hopefully you won't lose much on the MK5 mods that won't fit the Mk6

Probs more than that!  :scared:
I meant to say easy to do mods as opposed to cheap!
I hope so to! The things that should fit:
RNS
Wheels (after a refurb!  :sad1:)
Steering wheel
Amp will fit although the stealthbox may not? I dont know if they have changed the boot shape.
Dont think I will have to many probs selling xenons, r32 rear lights and bumper, full gti leather interior as they are quite sort after!

We will have to see what happens. I havent even test drove one yet! (i hope they let me due to my age?  :ashamed:)
