Something is not quite right here! 
2009 - 3 dr - 122 tsi golf - value £18000 - 1yncb = £1360
2009 - 3 dr - tsi - rocco - value £18000 - 1yncb = £4k

Something does not add up in my head, an extra 2.7k just because it is a coupe? I have a sneaking suspicion that this is for the 160 super and turbo charged model as the 122 is not an option just tsi!

Does anyone work for an insurance company here?

They are quoted direct of Admiral site. Using exactly the same details except changing the car! Major  !!!!!!

What do comparison sites say?

Does it drop if you change variables like annual mileage and your age, to see what figures you get with different data?
Obviously just as a test to see how it varies, not suggesting lie on the premium form 

Will other modified premium policies touch you? AFlux, Ephant?

Coilovers where fitted yesterday. It looks great from the back as one off the front adjusters is stuck in place!

TC they have changed the design of the FK highsports and the perch collars went solid on the front passenger, it feels like there is bur's all over the threads.

Looks awesome from the side if you stand back and put your hand over the front Don't worry Ollie we'll get there.

Ive had to buy another front strut at £150.  
If they find it is a manufacturing fault they will refund it if not they wont. We will have to wait and see what happens!

Cleaned the car up yesterday. Here are a few pics.
Cant wait to get my rear bumper done as the solid black plastic looks cheap! Due to repairs it is going to be a bit longer than I wanted!

Yeah the front has got to go down. I am waiting for a new strut as the one on there is locked in position! 
Im hoping it is a manufacturers fault so I get my money back!

The car is now immobilized on my drive! Warning lights + Bad noises + nothing loose anymore = Garage costs!  Got to get up at silly o clock now to get public transport to work! 

Anyway it has got me thinking (again) about maybe selling it on. I am thinking maybe to get the original suspension refitted to the car and get it put back to standard.

Now I can get insurance on the golf tsi 140 (not that cheap) but I am willing to pay it for a better car. It is the older one (same front as mine) not the black gt grill.
Does anyone know if there are any major differences between the old and new? Or was it just a face lift and the same engines? Also what could I expect to get performace wise from the 140 ie remap, intake, exhaust?
