Ollie I think Golfman was wanting your headlining mate if you ever got rid.

Darren :happy2:

I knew I offered someone first dibs but I could remember!  :stupid: Cheers Darren.

I may pop up to you some time in the next months to take the controllers and stuff off the car if that is alright with you.  :happy2:
Hi guys
ollie how about you take all the headliner and trim bits off at darrens when you pop up to him in the next months or so :happy2:
i can get the money 2 him for to give to you when you get to his?

cheers

scott

Im happy with that if darren is. I need to check the condition of my old one just to make sure it is not trashed.  :happy2:
That would be great ollie just send me a pm to let me know a price mate :happy2:
i will pm darren to make sure it's ok with him.

Time for a little downdate.
The amp and sub are now gone. The R32 bumper is for sale. I have decided to keep the car I have for a while and strip it down of the bits that I can lose. I have decided on the outside I will keep the wheels, xenons and maybe the r32 rear lights unless someone wants them.
And on the inside im going to keep the leather, RNS and maybe the steering wheel unless somebody wants that too. (would have controller to)
The reason is I am changing careers and money may be a little tight for a while. :scared:
I have coilovers, a GTI gear knob for sale and Climate controls with heated seats switches with the kufatec wiring loom if anyone wants that too.
As you can see I have a fair amount of money tied up in bits and bobs.
Now onto my next question, this is how the car looks now;

After having coilovers on for a while and seeing what a transformation it made to the look of the car, i have been thinking about finishing the exterior with a set of springs. Do you think 35mm would make the difference in looks or would it be a waste?
Sorry for long winded post.  :ashamed:
Ollie :happy2:

Cheers Nasir,

I would like those painted but I think it would cost a fair chunk?

I am unsure if to go for springs or not?

That's a neat look Ollie, I especially like those wheels

Anymore pics with that stance? It's probably the one I'll have with those on my GTI  mate :popcornsoda:

^ Indeed. I can't get mine on till June due to insurance implications but I want them refurbed by then anyway

Suspension? Well, see this thread - http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,9680.msg206536.html#msg206536
Give it a post so it bumps it too. Few of the guys were giving some really useful input.

I'm looking for something the rides like the OEM setup but will sit 35mm or so closer to the deck.
BTW, where you posted higher up, I think 35mm would definitely be noticeable and would be a nice gap closure in the arches. I would certainly not write it off  :happy2:

Yeah I think if I go for something it will just be springs. I just don't want to/cant be spending large amounts of money. It was like this before

Cheers again for the further pics Ollie

When you're bored, would you mind photoshopping those wheels to a gunmetal grey on your car or a GTI fella, please?
Results will probably decide my refurb finish.
Thanks  :happy2:

Na cost about £50 max really. It's only a few trim pieces, I'd get mine done if the car wasn't black
