I've been busy since buying it 3 weeks ago, so far ive done the following:

It's the little things...

Then i got a bit ambitious...

I also did some some updates to the engine.

From this:

To This: PCV Revamp, Forge Twintake, New battery surround (2nd hand), a good service and engine cover tidy up.

Now she seems to fly along the road, what with all the other work done by the previous owner. Still to come, open airvents, Forge high flow kit to delete the DV, 034 Motorsport solid dogbone mount, new headlight (to get rid of the dull one on the car) and some interior tidying up. more pics to come.

Already sold it on ebay, think it went for about £135 - which is good, because the twintake was £400!!!  :surprised:

Forge high flow valve:

I have started with wrapping the intake pipe with heat reflective aluminium tape. I've done this with the hope that once the engine is up to temp the air going in should stay a little cooler for a bit longer, what with the twintercooler set up too.

It's actually pretty subtle, not a stupidly big dump valve sound, Ive noticed a difference in performance too, which probably meant the previous dv was faulty.
