Driver door window not working
« on: September 02, 2015, 09:53:35 pm »
Hey guys, so the other day I was driving around and went to put my 2 front windows down, the left one went ok and then the driver one went down halfway and could here a little break noise. then I tried to move it and could hear the motor clicking but nothing happened.

Today then I decided to open up the door for a look, I could see straight away that one of the metal strings in the bottom corner was loose and when I tugged on it I could see that it was after breaking.

This is just a door from the internet, Its the same corner as I have coloured here

As of now my window is half way up and living in Ireland it is not ideal! Anyone have an idea of what exactly I need to do to fix this? If a new string piece will fix it or if there's more things I need? Any other information needed let me no! Thanks in advance  :happy2:
