Experience with first aid wheels anybody?
« on: September 03, 2015, 05:32:39 pm »
Hey there guys, my monzas are pretty battered and I have found a company through eBay who say they will swap them for a new set of genuine, freshly refurbed wheels for my damaged set and <£400. Sounds like a great deal but wondered if anybody l had any experience with the company. First aid wheels, they are based in London and have testimonials on their website but worryingly zero eBay feedback, good or otherwise. I would not give them any money before seeing what I was getting but wanted to see if anyone here had any experience that may save me a wasted trip to London.

Here is the eBay link and a link to their website

Cheers guys!

Ahhhh nice!

Somebody got back to me on Facebook with a glowing review. Now I just have to decide if i think I can hack looking after the diamond cutness.

Would it not maybe be a better option to just get the wheels painted and lacquered tondo away with the chance of white worm

It's a looks thing though. My current wheels were resprayed by the previous owner. Silver faces and grey inserts/barrels, they looked good when clean until the paint started bubbling and some white worm came through on a couple of the faces. Diamond cut monzas add such bling to the overall look of the car that it's kind of the route I want to go down. That said, keeping them all fresh will probably be an expensive job. I might just get mine resprayed as they are at the minute. But they will never look as good as diamond cut monzas.
