Magnetic Number Plate

Hey guys. Ordered new reg. plates without the holes so thought i do give the magnets a go. so ordered 20 rare earth magnets 50N.

how would you recommend doing this?

but how do he attatch the alu insert to the reg. plate? can it be done without the alu insert? glue the magnets to the alu reg. plates back?

I used this guide when I did the same thing. The only problem is the magnets corrode until there is nothing left. When it rains the felt gets wet and stops wet for quite a while which holds moisture against them.

I ended up trying the double sided suckers but ultimately went back to using the number plate plinth and sticky strips.

Bought 2 types of epox glue. one 4min and other 5min. no idea wich one to use  :surprised: one says plastic welding and other Epoxy kit
