Keen to know who on the forum has driven/owned/owns the F30 3-series of any age, ideally the 6 cylinder cars?
I don't need 4 doors but the 330d with xDrive seems everything I need/desire in a car really. It'll be no more expensive than my A3 to run and I'll be getting another 90ps before tuning etc when comparing standard v standard...
Evo mag reckoned the 335d xDrive didn't go too well with the 8 speed ZF gearbox and that the choice of the range is the 330d in RWD or xD.
Keen to hear how it compares to the E90
Very tempted by the LCI facelift E92 330d coupe in a manual and will probably save 5 or 6k. If the F30 is that much sharper and better then I'll go for that and forget that it's a saloon
The 4 series is depreciating way too slowly to be good value whereas the earlier F30 330d's can be had as little as 22k in decent spec and decent 'nick.
Any thoughts or experiences with them?
