First time polishing
« on: September 07, 2015, 01:52:04 pm »
Hi guys so im about to polish the car using the menzerna fg400 and hexlogic orange pad combo! i know this will get rid of swirl marks but i also want a glossy finish to the paintwork. Am i right in thinking that a glaze will do the job? Also which one would be best on lc9z paint?

Thanks guys!

FG400 on an Orange hexlogic pad is a pretty hefty combo.

I'd advise you are going to need to do some further refinishing work to remove the imperfections left by the first polishing stage.

A black pad and something like Menzerna final finish should do.

As for finish, I'd be looking at a sealant of some description. I've always found Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 with EZ creme glaze over the top works very, very well.
