Is there a noticeable performance difference with a 3.5" compared too a 3" downpipe?

I think it's only necessary when fitting a bigger turbo or chasing the very big number with wmi and trying to squeeze every last drop out of it. Not sure though maybe wrong

I wouldn't expect to notice the difference by simply changing from 3" - 90mm but I am doing it to make sure the flow is as good as it can be to allow safe linear power to be extracted from the TTE420 turbo :)

i noticed a difference with it being the only mod, i think it's because the outlet of the turbo is then matched to the downpipe, how far the 3.5" section needs to extend i'm unsure.
