Tyre wear on GTD

<< < (2/4) > >>

s3dubbin:
I'm sure my mk7 GTD came with bridgstones from factory. Looked Tues night, 14000 miles and I would say another 1000miles left in them.

Stevie.

That's mental! My missus drives like miss daisy, at least that's what she tells me!

Maybe they found out that the continentals are not that great? What year is yours? Mines is a March 2014.

s3dubbin:
Mine is Sept'14 64plate. I have just bought Conti contact 5's for my s3 8p need to see how they last on that at stage4.

Cheers, Stevie.

tony_danza:
Conti Sports are quite a soft and sticky compound for grip, and wear accordingly. Where as Bridgestones are made of coal and churches, and that's why they do starship mileage and try and kill you in the wet.

Just pick somewhere on the scale, you can't have everything!

PT82:
8k in 18 months. What the hell you buy a diesel for? lol
