Newbie from kent
« on: September 15, 2015, 02:06:21 pm »
Hi guys!

I recently had to sell my pride and joy to fund my business :(

So bye bye r36 hello deisel jetta XD

I know its not a gti but i figured there would be some fun goodies on this site that may not be on others (such as a set of fk coilovers that i really want but dont have the post count to reply to!)

My jetta is pretty terrible tbh. However this does mean i can do stuff to it without feeling guilty that im ruining it or de valuing it. I will put up a project thread once i've had a good chance to go over it properly but the body work is pretty shoddy and it looks like someone tried to break into it at some point if the passenger door is anything to go by.

I'm also after some hella headlights and all the gear to install washer jets (already got a gti bumper coming)

All the way down in dover. I couldnt be more south east. It makes buying cars and car parts really awkward as i end up basically buying everything from either london or sussex

U need u to come change it so i dont have to double tap my key to unlock the whole car. That is my least favourite thing about vag stuff!

Is it easily achieved? I literally just unboxed my VCDS lead and am setting up my laptop now!

Welcome! Newbie too! Just bought an app called Carista (threads about it on here) which has the basic functions of Vag Com too which can enable you to unlock all doors with one press. Need to buy a OBD2 wireless adapter too though! :happy2:

Welcome, what had you done to your R36? Looks tidy & I really like the Jetta just like a Golf MK5 saloon.
