a bit low on spec for my liking, if im being picky

Low grade stereo and no MFSW

Other then that, looks a nice example

So much for keeping it standard!

As a negotiating tool i would want the original wheels not those ones on it , takes something away from the ED30 imho . Also says cambelt changed at 40 odd thousand miles , but when was it ? They need changing every 4 years (the mot's show it would have been between Sept 2011 and Aug 2012 , i suggest its due now ) , it is a late 2007 model 57 reg and the RNS510 SatNav can be fitted for around £400 which is a great improvement on the stereo that is in that one . Also check the service history closely as it may have had missed a service or two (An educated guess) as only 8000 miles over 4 years 2011 - 2014 . Looks a nice car though , but i'd offer £9k

I wouldn't pay 9.5 for this to be perfectly honest! I paid 10k for my 2008 5 door ed30 from a dealer (so included a 3 month warranty) in August 2014 with 72k miles, FVWSH and a heap more extras.. Belt and pump had been replaced 6 months earlier and DSG mechatronics had been done under warranty in 2011 also.

IMO they're asking too much

Edit: Or I just got a steal!

No , are they replicas ?
The initial drop of £700 would get me thinking why drop so much , mention the cambelt needs changing and the wheels you might get £3-400 more off. But have you actually seen it yet ?

So he has dropped the price £700 and the person he has dropped the price to hasn't seen it yet ! Doesn't sound good to me . I believe the replicas have a different size centre , there is stuff elsewhere on this forum about BBS replica wheels .

They are genuine wheels, just with red bbs centre caps? Don't think I've ever heard of pescara reps! I'd say it's worth what it's up for depending on the Cam belt and water pump. Looks a clean example from the pics

How can you tell they are genuine from looking at a photo ? Pescara and BBS CH wheels look the same , don't they and you can get replica CH's

I also think that BBS centre cap wouldn't fit a Pescara wheel .

OP - Perhaps ask the seller to a send some images of the embossed markings on the wheels ??

Bbs ch's have motorsport around the wheel nut holes and are more concave. And you can buy red bbs emblems to fit as I have done recently for my pescara's. Why would someone have replicas of the original wheel for the car?
