As above,

I noticed my car smells like its running very rich this morning and the fuel consumption has increased a fair bit (about 10 to 15% drop) over the past 6 months or more. I had been driving our other car a lot prior to this so it may have been going on for longer. It still drives fine so I've never really bother doing anything about it but its MOT time in a few weeks so I want to get it sorted.

Having done a bit of research I've got a feeling the Lambda sensor is knacked, is this something that would become apparent at the MOT test? There aren't any fault code lights showing on the dash but its not been connected to a VCDS or other diagnostics system as yet to delve deeper.

The car is Stage 2 with a Milltek downpipe/200 cel cat and has been in this state of tune for over 3 of the 4 years I have owned it. Its averaging 25 mpg and always used to return 29 so no biggy on the wallet but rather make sure all is good.
