Audi S3 8P Calipers Fault with New Discs & Pads
« on: September 27, 2015, 12:44:21 pm »
Hi all
I've just installed some 340mm grooved front discs and installed Mintex 1144 front pads to my Ed30.
Car was driving fine during bed in of brakes.
Now when I reverse and brake I get a clanking noise every time I press the brake pedal.
I've checked the brakes and it's basically the pads moving around in the caliper.
It's only happens on the drivers side which is odd.
Are there any clips I can get which would hold the pads tighter in the caliper so when I press the brake pedal they are fixed in position.

Many thanks

Paul

Yes I have.
Need something that will hold the pads in place at each end of the pad where is mates the caliper.
