Which is a kinda sports wheel,  your newly delivered wheel is the basic mk6 wheel sadly has different bag.  Do you have mk5

Well the wheel you  have isn't right then,  you'll either need another wheel or send your one back

That air bag is for the sports flat bottomed steering wheel,  the steering wheel you have is the standard wheel which needs the standard airbag

Here are the 2 different wheels and bags

I only found out a few years back as I tried to swap my airbag with a newer one on a hire car and realised they were different
Loads of extra's and retro fits.

Do you think I am better trying to find the right airbag for one of the wheels I have bought
Try to return both wheels and look for one complete
Or as my airbag is the same a a golf gtd trying to sell my airbag then buy a complete one
They seem more difficult to find complete?
