Auto lights in broad daylight?
« on: October 02, 2015, 11:25:01 am »
Yesterday in broad daylight without a cloud in the sky my auto lights came on at 4pm?

Can I clean the sensor or something?

I am sure I once read that it activates auto lights in bright light as with that comes dark shadows.

Or were you doing over 90mph?
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Mine seem to so a similar thing.... On my route to and from work I pass underneath a railway bridge and when on my way home with the evening sun behind me the autolights come on.

Low sunlight can trigger them. It's a feature
