Have you tried restarting the machine?

If your used to using a windows machine enable secondary click (right click)
Apple sign > system preferences > mouse

I was downloading el capitan , so didn't , have restarted it now and got rid of it , thanks  :happy2:
I also have found that my top rated songs on itunes have not transferred over , about 900 . Don't want to have to redo them ! Will deauthorising the old laptop resolve it ?

The top rated items are still listed in my library , but the main library doesn't show the ratings , i have two libraries listed 1 . This computer and 2 . My Library . My library only shows up on my new mac when i have iTunes displayed and turned on on my old laptop , when i turn off that iTunes it disappears on my new mac ! It gives a pop up (on the old computer) saying "one or more people are using your shared iTunes library , are you sure you want to disconnect everybody" . How do is get my library on my new mac and off my old computer . I have ALL my music now on my macbook , i just don't have the ratings , folders etc that i have created over many years !

So next on the list is "How do you protect your lid and base of your MP Pro"

So i want something that doesn't increase the size much and that is not one of those clip on covers as they appear to scratch the lid , i have a crumpler case for when i take it out , which is not often , the carbon look cover , front and back looks favorite at the moment .

Ordered a icarbons carbon skin for the lid only ....they do come for the whole of the machine but i think the lid is the more vulnerable piece to protect ....£13.99 from Amazon . Made of 3M material too .
