Dash Cam Footage
« on: September 29, 2015, 12:38:41 pm »
The dash cam has finally picked up some interesting footage. When i heard the bump i shat my self as i thought he hit my car luckily he hit the real estate agents car (we were viewing a house)

The guy did come back he reckons the old woman should have given way.

Excellent quality - can't be long before that's standard on all vehicles and as a result such an easy job for the police to prosecute the fleeing offender.

I'm really happy the Koonlung K1S. Just a pity it doesn't have buffering when using the motion detection. Look how close the fiesta got before it started to record.

Really a moron... How hard would have been to just brake and wait for the other car to pass?

Great footage. Your cameras are awesome. :congrats:

Fair play the guy did come back and fill out the insurance forms. But if he hadn't the footage would have come in handy as you can clearly see his plate.

Do you think the insurance will pay to have it re-wrapped?

At least he reconsider and came back.

I'm not sure if in Spain is the same. Here our insurance companies normally pay for all the damages done to others, no questions asked. Some only aren't so willing to pay for the damages done to modified parts fitted to the insured car.

For a lady owner i was impressed no curbing on any of the wheels.  The wrap was nicely done also. Probably helps protect the paint from the dings most cars have from parking over here.

I've never made a claim so not 100% sure, doubt they would cover the wrap.

Here I'd contest if the insurance company didn't cover the wrap. The parked car at most was illegally parked, since it was partially blocking the passage for pedestrians by being over the side-walk, but AFAIK the car who was responsible has to pay for all the damages done.

Would it not have been the insurance companies liability to return the car to standard, unless the mods were agreed with the owner?
