Ha ha!! It's a 999cc, a pint sized engine with a good little growl at about 5k revs and it can stop on a sixpence. Literally 60-0 in about 5 metre!!  :driver:

Can't find any model trim details about it (tempted to plug it into VCDS) but according to Parkers it has the following specs:

it could be a Take Up, move Up, Rock Up, High Up or Black Up sorry, Up Black, Up White or Groove Up. And for the Geordies there's an E-Up!
0-60mph: 12.
Powah: 73 bhp
Insurance: Grp 1!
Weight: 929kg

Looks like  a Move Up because of the wheel trims, which would make it the 60PS version

They are good fun little cars. I've driven that and the Mii and found them to be great around town. If they ever bring out a quick GT version I'd probably consider swapping the Golf...

I would queue to get my hands on an Up! GT. Either a 1.2 TSi turbo (105 PS) or a 1.6 FSi engine. Hopefully the turbo so it can be mapped. Probably 16" alloys, I'd love to see how Montreal 2's look on an Up! or a 16" version of the Watkins Glen alloys. Any budding Photoshoppers reading this? ;)

Finally the Up! GT should be available on Lapiz Blue, what the Mk7 R comes in.

Holy thread revival Batman!!

I'm back, kinda. Been a good while since I've posted and not a lot has happened. Except reaching 98k miles on the Octavia already!  :driver:
New job means I work 2 minutes from a tuning garage (HQ Performance Dalgety Bay). I got talking to them and one thing led to another and I got a rolling road run. Only 18 months after getting a Stage 1 REVO remap.

Results were 166bhp and 266 FtLb at the wheels. No idea of flywheel figures as they don't give any. Potentially 210bhp at the wheels I think. Not bad for nothing but a remap. Standard intake, filter and exhaust.

 :sad1:

VERY short notice but my Octavia is now up for sale. New car imminent, if I can't sell it by Monday it'll be traded in for a shockingly low amount.  :sad1:

Just a follow up post: managed to get an OK trade in price for my Octavia and left with a 2014 Leon FR 184. Love the car, much more reminiscent of the Golf, loving being back in a hatchback. Handling is very good (for a standard diesel). So much more grip and flat cornering. Suspension is a little stiffer so you feel more of the road (not always a bad thing). Photos and details to follow...
