Been told it's good to use deionised water as it doesn't leave water residue and marks so who uses one and  where to get one from

Carplan do it for 99p a litre from Sainsburys.

I have a DI resin vessel

You can see a reading of 403ppm without the vessel.

And a reading of 0ppm with the vessel.

You still need to dry it though.
