Colour Hi Line Display

One of my mates was saying that you can change the Hi-line display for an equivalent one that has more/different colours in it?

Has anyone come across this and is there an element of truth to this?

Possibly?  1 of the Audi models has a color screen think it might be the S4?  but if its the same size and has the same connections on the screen then should in essence work????

Im going to change mine to the mk6 white screen once I find a cheap enough cluster

The A4's and A6's have an option of a colour DIS.

I hate having an 07 car!!

Would these be a straight swap on a GTi Highline display?

Ohh, ill look into that tomorrow. Thanks.

My local dealer was going to do it for £329 fitted, but i just cant justify it at the minute. Especially when GTi clocks with highline can be got from £60 on ebay!!

No, not really you just need to have made the investment in the equipment.  Many people that say they can only do the earlier ones can only do so because they have a clone of the device which is unsupported so that when new units are added to cars they cannot be dealt with.  Ben has bought the correct licensed equipment.
