Car won't start
« on: October 18, 2015, 03:19:46 pm »
Right guys I need your help. Car is a 2005 GTTDI 88000 with a dsg box. It's got an intermittent fault , most of the time it starts first time but then sometime it doesn't want to start. Turn the key hear a slight click and nothing. All the lights are on the dash. They don't dim or flash. I'm sat at the tip now wanting to set the bloody thing on fire. Any one got any ideas?

If it does it again you could try bashing the starter with a piece of wood as others have etc or rocking it in gear. If it works it's the starter.
