Been watching these forums for quite some time, registered recently and thought it was about time to say hi :happy2:

This is my MKV Golf GT 170 2006.

Any plans for the car?

Hi prp74, Yes plans are mainly cosmetic stuff but nothing over the top, so far fitted 3sdm 0.01 wheels, lowered on H&R sport springs, rear badge in black, polo short aerial. Next mods will be side skirts, rear window tints and darker front lights and swap to led bulbs all around. I will be getting an induction kit but not going to modify the engine further due to reading about a lot of failed 1.4 tsi twin charged engines. Unless fitting forged pistons would help cure the problem? are they even available for this engine? Both front wings started to rust, VW York agreed to replace both under warranty, going in Monday.

@ dave thanks for the comment, I always intended going for the black on black look, the 3sdm's pull it off well i think.
