The Scholl compounds are good, for a golf I would use S3 and one of their orange waffle pads followed by S40 and one of their black waffle pads

Totally depends on current condition of the paint and what machine you're using

In my experience s30 won't touch vag paint, I had to go to s3. I would suggest s17 or s20 black for a single stage. Then s40 to final finish

S30+ and a black hex with a rotary buffer will do a nice one-step polish for removing slight haze off of VAG paint. Key is to use a good amount of pressure during working and then finishing off carefully with lower rpm's and very little to no pressure at all on the pad. For a more serious correction a good combination would be S3G with an orange hex and then to finish off with S30 + black hex - again with a rotary machine. I've used both combinations with great success on black and red VAG paints.
Scholl products need to be worked a little different compared to the traditional Menzerna products for example. Scholl ones need more pressure and you can basically skip the warm up phase of the traditional "zenith" method - that way the process is a fair bit faster with Scholl products. With a correct amount of product on the pad there is also little to no dust during polishing. I really like all Scholl products and recommend them to everyone.

90% of all of the cars I have detailed have had Scholl used on them.
Primarily a hit or two with S3 Gold and then on VAG paint S40 with a medium pad gives a very very good finish, with no holograms.
For a single stage polish I would actually go for Sonax 4/6. Better than Scholl S20 black.
