IIRC Abel Xavier played for each team in both derby's in the same season.

tbh these were my answers but both are wrong!

I didn't even know the player in question ever played for Everton, may have been a short term loan or something....

Played for Liverpool In Houilliers treble winning season but was replaced shortly after.
