Nice bit of tech and pretty brisk for a 1.4 engine + electric motor, but I'm not feeling it.    Would rather have that same little engine powering a 100hp electric motor per wheel  :smiley:

I like the concept of them, sports hybrids are the future so embracing them early is a winner. In a few generations times, all hot hatches will be hybrids like this. VW led the way in the 70's with the GTI, now they're doing it again with the GTE.

Yeah I remember the 16V and the MK3 GSI very well!  Waaaaaay too much power for the chassis!  Awesome engines, dire cars  :grin:
